I didn’t know my calling until 2007 after my elderly mother was clearly taken advantage of in the sale of her Florida home. As I assisted her in the aftermath, I learned more about real estate, ethics, and meeting the needs of seniors in home buying and selling.
Another potentially vulnerable demographic are first time home buyers, and my specialty expanded in educating and empowering this niche.
As a Denver metro resident for over 40 years and 8+ years in real estate, I know what works in a changing local real estate market.
McTeam Properties values are stated on our website, on our paperwork, and evident in my engagement with you. Only McTeam Properties offers a guarantee backed by the highest level of professional designations and exceptional track record. Over 90% of our real estate clients come from referrals.
What’s the difference between a real estate agent and a realtor?
Lee McCue is a Realtor. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) subscribes to a code of ethics which must be maintained every four years and is overseen by DORA ensuring the credibility of this professional designation. The code of ethics is founded on competency, fairness, and high integrity. Realtors have a social responsibility to the public to put the public’s best interests first.
Exemplifying this, a real estate agent may over-estimate a home value to win business, to the detriment of the seller who may lose highest market value offers, incurring listing time on the market and stress.
